- Search for new clients who might benefit from company products or services and maximize client potential in designated regions.
- Participate in site visits.

- Collaborating with the design, engineering, or programming teams of the company to determine how products and services could be made or modified to suit the needs of the customer.
- Memorizing technical product specifications and keeping up-to-date with new company products as well as industry trends.
- Attending conferences, lectures, seminars, and workshops to improve your skills and knowledge.
- Conducting market research and obtaining feedback from clients to improve existing products.
- Simplifying technical terms during product demonstrations and post-sales customer support.
- Develop long-term relationships with clients, through managing and interpreting their requirements.
- Persuade clients that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery.
- Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs.
- Calculate client quotations and administer client accounts.
- Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education.
- Work on after-sales support services and provide technical back-up as required.
- Prepare reports for head office and keep customer records.
- Meet regular sales targets and coordinate sales projects.
- Provide training and produce support material for other members of the sales team.
Requirements
Academic Requirement:
Bachelorβs degree in Mechatronic Engineering or a related field
Diploma or certificate in marketing, sales or a related field.
Relevant Experience:
Three (3) years as a mechatronic engineer or a similar field and two (2) years in engineering sales or a similar field.
