Reporting to: Business Optimization Manager

Key Responsibilities: -

Transport Partner Management:

Ensuring all drivers adhere to the required code of conduct while picking goods from manufacturers, Distribution centers or making deliveries to customers.

Reporting any outliers to logistics manager for quick action

Inventory Management

  • Inventory Planning - Assessing stock balance against sales to request for inventory top ups to maintain set minimum thresholds
  • Inventory Report Audit - Reviewing the DC Inventory report to ensure it is filled accurately and on time by the warehousing associates.
  • Inventory Accountability - Supervision of stock count process at predetermined intervals to ensure no inventory loss from in-accurate counts, pilferage or in-accurate record keeping of all intakes and dispatches.

Casual Management

  • Assessment of requirement of casual needs daily based on the planned intakes and dispatches to optimize cost vs throughput at the warehouse.
  • Cascade the labor plan to the Inventory clerks.
  • Validate the casuals payment done daily tallies with the labor plan of the day, ensuring all casuals get paid on time for work done.

Team Management:

  • Manage inventory clerks, ensuring their growth and development, and wellness.
  • Promote a culture of knowledge sharing, constructive feedback and collaboration.
  • Create daily plans for stock management.



Skills & Experience

  • Minimum two years in a similar role in a construction, FMCG Warehouse or Logistics company.
  • Tech Savvy - able to learn new systems quickly.

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Good communication skills
