Job Description

Infotrak Research and Consulting, a premier Pan-African research firm headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya, with a branch office in Lagos, Nigeria, is seeking dynamic and well-organized individuals to join our team in the following position:

  1. Position: Human Resources Officer
     

We are looking for a results-driven and strategic Human Resources Officer to lead and enhance our staff operations and foster a high-performance organizational culture. The successful candidate will be based in our Nairobi office with occasional travel to the west Africa branch office.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy;
  2. Oversee the entire employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding;
  3. Lead organizational development initiatives, including succession and workforce planning;
  4. Ensure compliance with labour laws and statutory requirements while advising management on HR best practices;
  5. Advise senior management on employee relations, conflict resolution, and organizational culture change
  6. Manage compensation and benefits programs, ensuring market competitiveness and internal equity;
  7. Oversee HR policies, procedures, and systems, ensuring consistency and fairness across the organization;
  8. Lead and support internal training programs to enhance employee skills and engagement;
  9. Prepare HR reports and analytics to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, or a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences plus a Diploma in Human Resource Management (a master’s degree is an added advantage);
  • At least 5 years of progressive HR experience;
  • Membership with IHRM;
  • Strong knowledge of Kenyan labour laws and experience with HRIS systems;
  • Proven experience in leading large and cross-border teams;
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills;
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
