Our client is looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of Marketing based in Johannesburg or Harare, with frequent regional travel. The successful candidate will lead brand communication strategies and initiatives, playing a key role in enhancing brand visibility, reputation, and engagement through the execution of comprehensive marketing and public relations campaigns.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the communications departments across the organization.
  • Develop and implement strategic marketing and public relations campaigns.
  • Act as the organization’s representative at media events and key speaking engagements.
  • Ensure consistent and positive messaging across all organizational materials.
  • Conduct quality control on all communications and branding efforts.
  • Collaborate with media outlets and partners to build strong relationships and enhance media presence.
  • Advise internal stakeholders and partners on communication strategies and projects.
  • Create and distribute engaging content across multiple platforms.
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of communication strategies.
  • Support leadership in internal and external communication initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
