Incredible Montagu Hotel is looking for a FOOD AND BEVERAGE MANAGER


Candidate requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent
  • Min of 3 years proven experience in a similar role at a 4- or 5-star establishmentΒ 
  • Excellent administrative capabilities with full proficiency in MS Office suite
  • Good knowledge of POS and Restaurant systems (preferably Plus Point, Plus Central & Apex)
  • Exceptional menu planning and development capabilities
  • Good knowledge on stock management, rotation and ordering
  • The ability to create and sustain good relationships with vendorsΒ 
  • Exceptional management and leadership capabilities
  • Above-average customer service skills with the ability to engage customers and create memorable experiences
  • Good financial acumen and the ability manage budgets, costing, and to maximize profitabilityΒ 
  • The ability to host events and manage catering for large functions and events
  • Marketing savvy to promote products and drive sales in the Food and Beverage department
  • Up to date with industry trendsΒ 
  • The ability to train and upskill staff in a positive way
