Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the preparation and review of monthly management accounts, honing your skills in financial reporting
- Contribute to cash flow forecasting and treasury management, gaining valuable experience in financial planning
- Collaborate on quarterly, interim, and year-end reporting processes, developing a comprehensive understanding of group-level finance
- Drive the budgeting process, enhancing your strategic financial planning abilities
- Create impactful weekly and monthly flash reports, developing your skills in concise financial communication
- Manage the group CAPEX process, gaining exposure to capital expenditure strategies
- Conduct in-depth financial data analysis, sharpening your analytical prowess
- Liaise with external stakeholders including banks and auditors, building your professional network
- Lead the management and upkeep of the BI platform, expanding your technical expertise
- Oversee SARS notifications for the Group, deepening your understanding of tax implications
Requirements:
- Newly qualified CIMA or equivalent qualification, demonstrating your commitment to professional development
- 1-3 years of experience in a financial role, preferably in the manufacturing or FMCG sector
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems, with an interest in Prophix, Lease Tracker, and Qlik applications
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Valid driver's license and own transport
