Overview

The Field Trainer is a pivotal role responsible for traveling to designated Jax Kar Wash locations to train and support new Membership and Service Advisors (MSAs). This individual will train the sales processes, promote teamwork, and implement strategies to improve sales performance. The Field Trainer will act as a role model for the MSAs, embodying the values and standards of Jax Kar Wash.

Field trainers make $17/hour plus bonus. Candidates will travel to a few different Jax locations so reliable transportation is required. Gas will be reimbursed! We also offer Health Insurance, PTO, and a 401k match program.

Responsibilities

  • Training and Development:
    • Conduct on-site training for new MSAs, ensuring they understand sales techniques, customer service protocols, and company policies.
  • Sales Oversight:
    • Monitor and evaluate sales performance at each site, providing constructive feedback to MSAs.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to set achievable goals and targets.
  • Team Communication:
    • Foster effective communication between MSAs and site managers, ensuring alignment on sales strategies and customer service standards.
    • Schedule regular check-ins and meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Performance Improvement:
    • Identify areas for improvement in sales techniques and customer interactions, implementing training solutions as needed.
    • Develop and recommend initiatives to boost overall sales performance across assigned locations.
  • Site Management Collaboration:
    • Work closely with site managers to understand operational challenges and sales opportunities.
    • Provide insights and recommendations based on site performance.
  • Travel and Flexibility:
    • Travel to various Jax Kar Wash locations, typically visiting one site per day, with a flexible schedule to accommodate weather and operational demands.
    • Be prepared for last-minute changes in travel plans and site priorities.
  • Reporting:
    • Report directly to the Director of Sales and Support, providing updates on training progress, sales performance, and site challenges.
    • Maintain detailed records of training sessions, performance metrics, and feedback from MSAs and managers.

    • Proven experience in sales, training, or a leadership role, preferably in a retail or service-oriented environment.

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
