Despite being a small-sized team, the company is experiencing swift growth and aims to expand its footprint in Kenya and the wider East Africa region through strategic leadership and distribution management.

Role Summary:

The Country Manager will be responsible for driving growth and profitability across Kenya and managing distributors throughout the East Africa region. This role requires an accomplished leader with extensive sales experience within the Consumer Electronics industry. The successful candidate will oversee P&L management, enhance distribution networks, and scale the local team to achieve ambitious revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a growth strategy to increase market share and revenue across Kenya and East Africa.
  • Sales & Distribution Management: Establish and strengthen distribution channels, ensuring optimal coverage and performance.
  • Team Growth & Development: Recruit, mentor, and lead a growing team to achieve high performance and build a robust organizational structure.
  • P&L Management: Drive profitability through effective budget management, cost control, and revenue optimization.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, distributors, and stakeholders.
  • Market Analysis: Continuously monitor market trends, competition, and consumer needs to identify growth opportunities.

Key Requirements:

  • Industry Experience: Proven track record of success in sales and leadership roles within the Consumer Electronics industry.
  • Leadership & Management: Demonstrated ability to grow and lead a team, develop talent, and achieve business objectives.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of P&L management, profitability strategies, and financial performance analysis.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Regional Knowledge: Familiarity with the East Africa market and distribution networks.
