Position Overview

We're seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Business Manager to be a pivotal force in driving the growth and operational success of our early-stage tech company. The ideal candidate is a versatile self-starter, capable of managing diverse business functions, from administrative systems to supporting strategic initiatives. You will work directly with the CEO to build a robust business foundation, enabling our technical team to innovate and our company to achieve its strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic & Planning Support: Assist the CEO in developing business plans, market research, competitive analysis, and preparing materials for strategic initiatives, including fundraising, investor relations, and key stakeholder engagement.
  • Business Operations & Administration: Establish and manage core administrative processes, including HR basics, vendor relations, and essential company record-keeping to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Financial Administration & Oversight: Oversee basic bookkeeping, manage expense reports, process invoices, and contribute to financial planning and budget tracking.
  • Project Management & Coordination: Lead and coordinate various business projects (non-technical), ensuring alignment with company goals and timely execution.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Management: Manage internal communications, assist with external communications (including support for sales and investment-related materials), and facilitate relationship management with key partners, potential clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Process Optimization & Efficiency: Proactively identify and implement improvements to business processes to enhance overall efficiency and productivity.
  • Market & Customer Insights: Support efforts in gathering customer feedback, understanding market needs, and contributing to the refinement of service/product offerings and sales strategies.
  • General Business Support: Provide comprehensive support to the CEO across a wide range of business activities, acting as a key enabler for strategic priorities and adapting to emerging needs in a fast-paced startup environment.


Requirements

  • Proven ability to manage diverse business functions and contribute to strategic objectives.

  • Excellent organizational, planning, and project management capabilities.

Experience

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in business management, general administration, business support, or a multifaceted operational role.
  • Demonstrable experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, ideally within a startup or small, growing business where versatility was key.
  • Track record of successfully managing varied responsibilities, problem-solving independently, and delivering results.
