Task Description
Account and Sales Manager – East Africa (Location: Nairobi, Kenya)
In order to further develop our leadership position throughout the SEA sub-region, we are looking for an Account and Sales Manager to reinforce our market development activities in Wholesale Mobility, Roaming, voice, messaging services and fraud solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell BICS International Wholesale Mobility, Roaming, voice, messaging and fraud solutions across East Africa, offering pre-sales technical consultancy to ensure successful deal closures.
- Identify new opportunities, create and execute sales strategies, and provide technical and commercial proposals that assist customers in achieving their business goals and identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to drive revenue growth.
- Manage and develop the existing customer portfolio by utilizing various BICS solution families.
- Maintain relationships with assigned mobile operators and engage with all levels of the customer's organization and act as the main point of contact for customers, addressing concerns and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Oversee the complete operational implementation of contracts, from negotiation through to full-service deployment.
- Address all issues related to finance (billing, collections, dispute resolution), technical aspects (dimensioning and configuring physical interconnections), legal matters (contracts), and administrative tasks for your assigned customer portfolio.
- Propose new product development ideas based on insights from the market and customers.
Your Profile
Your Profile:
- You hold a master’s degree in business studies or engineering or equivalent in experience in telecom and/or enterprise.
- You have 5 years of experience and deep understanding of Wholesale Mobility, Roaming, voice, messaging and fraud solutions.
- You possess a strong technical and sales engineering background with extensive telecom and enterprise industry experience.
- You are well-acquainted with the mobile community and have a robust network among various mobile operators in the sub-region.
- You demonstrate excellent presentation, negotiation, problem solving and communication skills.
- You are proactive, highly motivated, willing to travel, and able to work independently.
- Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
- You can easily adapt to cultural differences.
- English and Swahili are essential. Knowledge of additional languages is a big advantage.
- Candidate should already be
based in Nairobi.
