Job Summary

The Warehouse Manager will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of goods. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in warehouse and logistics management, particularly in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods sector. The Warehouse Manager will ensure that productivity targets are met and maintain the highest standards of warehouse practices and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Warehouse Operations

    • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping/receiving.

    • Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, by supervising, organizing, directing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operation goals.

  • Inventory Management

    • Maintain proper inventory levels and ensure accurate records are kept.

    • Implement and oversee inventory control procedures to maximize accuracy and minimize loss.

  • Logistics Coordination

    • Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.

    • Develop and maintain relationships with key logistics suppliers.

  • Team Management

    • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of warehouse staff, ensuring a high level of performance.

    • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.

  • Health and Safety

    • Ensure that all warehouse activities comply with company policies and legal guidelines.

    • Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a safe working environment.

  • Continuous Improvement

    • Identify opportunities for cost reduction, efficiency improvements, and enhanced customer service.

    • Implement and manage continuous improvement initiatives.






Requirements

Experience

    • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in warehouse and logistics management, preferably within the FMCG sector.

    • Proven track record of managing warehouse operations and logistics in a high-volume environment.

  • Skills and Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.

    • Strong leadership and team management skills.

    • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

    • Proficiency in warehouse management software and MS Office Suite.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
