Role Purpose

The VAS Coordinator role is key in end-to-end coordination of Value-Added Services (VAS) inputs i.e. Facilitating VAS Partner Onboarding as per process; Driving timely VAS service request execution (RFI); Executing VAS Billing operations; and, Managing VAS operations process improvement.

Key Responsibilities (Balance scorecard)

Financial, Customer, and Processes impacting KPIs
  • VAS Partner Onboarding
  • ensure the Partner is onboarded through the laid out system capture process
  • validate to ensure the Contracts are as per recommended templates and filled appropriately
  • ensure/validate the recommended KYC (know your customer) documents are attached
  • follow up with relevant internal functions to ensure successful Partner onboarding, as guided by regulatory & policies.
  • Implement legally binding requests (e.g. cessations, split accounts, etc) by following recommended policies and procedures

VAS Service requests execution
  • ensure request form and are received from the partner
  • ensure validation of request form by sales
  • ensure invoicing by Revenue accounting
  • ensure partner shares a POP (purpose of payment), in alignment with the invoice
  • ensure validation of payment by Finance Treasury
  • ensure RFI (request for implementation) is raised and tracked for delivery within SLA (Service Level Agreements)
  • follow up VAS escalations to closure
VAS Billing operations
  • Improved Billing execution
  • Billing preparation & validation
  • The monthly invoicing to the partners.
  • The monthly credits to the partners.
VAS processes improvement
  • ensure proper processes and procedures are implemented
  • come up with solution based proposals for process improvements
  • execute process improvements
  • track KPIs vs delivery within SLA (Service Level Agreements)
  • Maintain a VAS Partner Base and Central repository for all VAS & SDP/A2P related Documentation

Requirements

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Telecommunications, IT, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in telecom, digital services, VAS, or sales operations.
  • Prior exposure to working with cross-functional teams
  • Understanding of VAS products and services in a telecom environment.
