In line with our dedication to holistic wellness, we are in search of a compassionate and skilled Spa Therapist to enrich our team.Reporting to the Head of Nursing Services, this role involves providing body treatments, massages, facials, waxing, and manicure/pedicure services in a safe and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will showcase a deep commitment to client well-being, possess exceptional skills in spa therapies, and exhibit meticulous attention to detail in equipment and product inventory management.

Role Overview:
As a Spa Therapist at Refine Plastic Surgery, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the overall wellness experience for our clients. Your responsibilities will include delivering spa services with precision and care, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for our clientele. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining equipment and product inventory to uphold our standards of excellence. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Performing different types of massages, beauty treatments, and wellness therapies.
  • Maintaining detailed records of massages, treatments, and therapies performed on each spa guest.
  • Communicating with guests during massages to adjust massage techniques as required.
  • Resolving guest complaints and reporting any accidents to the supervisor.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing work areas, changing treatment room sheets, and sterilizing all instruments and equipment before each use.
  • Explaining massages, treatments, and therapies to guests and providing suitable recommendations as needed.
  • Ensuring that the spa is adequately stocked with spa supplies and reporting shortages to the supervisor.
  • Enquiring about guests' medical conditions and allergies before providing spa services.
  • Provision of home lymphatic massage and wound care services.


Requirements

KCSE Certificate.
  • Education and Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience in massage techniques, manicures, pedicures, waxing, and face/body therapies.
  • Diploma in Beauty Therapy essential.
  • Proven experience working as a spa therapist.
  • Certifications in Healthcare are advantageous.
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and different massage techniques.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Experience in sales will be considered an asset.
  • User-level computer skills.
