Job Description:
As a Senior MEP Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, installation, and maintenance of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for our projects. You will work closely with our team of architects, designers, and project managers to ensure that our designs are functional, efficient, and compliant with all relevant regulations and standards.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the MEP design process for all projects, including conceptual design, detailed design, and construction documentation
- Coordinate with architects and other team members to ensure that MEP systems are integrated seamlessly into the overall design
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure that MEP systems are installed correctly and meet quality standards
- Review and approve all MEP shop drawings and submittals
- Conduct cost analysis and make recommendations for cost-effective MEP solutions
- Prepare and review technical specifications and contract documents
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the project team
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and provide technical support as needed
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in MEP technology and incorporate them into our designs
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Experience in FIT-OUT (INTERIOR DESIGN) IS A MUST
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in MEP engineering, preferably in an architectural firm
- Strong knowledge of MEP design principles, codes, and standards
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software
- Excellent project management and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Leadership and mentoring skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not required
