Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Finance and Operations Officer at Space and Style Ltd in Juja. The officer will be responsible for :
  • Daily financial and operational tasks:Β including managing operations, overseeing finances, and ensuring effective communication within the company.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Ability to prepare, analyze, and present financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Expertise in creating and managing budgets, forecasting financial performance, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Cost Management: Knowledge of cost control techniques and identifying opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality or efficiency.
  • Cash Flow Management: Ability to manage cash flow, ensuring the organization has adequate liquidity to meet operational needs.
  • Financial Modelling: Proficiency in building financial models to analyze scenarios and support decision-making.
  • Financial Software Proficiency: Familiarity with financial management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, etc.) and advanced Excel skills for financial analysis.
  • Negotiation: Ability to negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors and partners to optimize financial outcomes.
  • Long-term Planning: Ability to contribute to long-term financial and operational strategies and align departmental goals with organizational objectives.
  • Stakeholder Management: Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, department heads, suppliers, and clients.

  • Finance knowledge and experience
  • Proven experience in operational management
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Professional certifications such as CPA are highly desired
  • ICPAK Membership highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
  • Experience in the construction or building industry is a plus
