OVERVIEW
We are seeking a motivated and
results-driven Sales Representative to join our team in Kenya. As a Sales
Representative specializing in prepaid and smart metering solutions, you will
play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence and driving revenue
growth. Your primary focus will be on promoting and selling our range of
prepaid and smart metering products to potential clients, establishing strong
relationships, and achieving sales targets.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Identify, target, and engage potential clients in the Kenyan market who could benefit from our prepaid and smart metering solutions.
· Conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape, and incorporate findings into your sales approach.
· Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline, utilizing CRM tools to track leads, opportunities, and sales activities.
· Present our prepaid and smart metering products and solutions to clients, effectively articulating their features, benefits, and value propositions.
· Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients while ensuring alignment with company policies and revenue goals.
· Collaborate closely with the technical and support teams to ensure seamless implementation and customer satisfaction post-sale.
· Stay up-to-date with advancements in prepaid and smart metering technologies, regulations, and industry best practices.
· Provide regular sales reports, market feedback, and insights to the sales manager to inform strategic decision-making.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Previous experience in B2B
sales, ideally within the Real-Estate Construction, energy, utilities, or technology sectors, is highly
desirable.
· Strong understanding of prepaid
and smart metering systems, their benefits and applications
· Proven track record of meeting
or exceeding sales targets and quotas.
· Exceptional communication and
interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence
decision-makers.
· Self-motivated and able to work
independently, while also being a team player.
· Proficient in using CRM
software and Microsoft Office suite.
· Knowledge of the Kenyan energy
market and regulatory environment is a plus.
· Valid driver's license and
willingness to travel within the region as required
