On behalf of our client, we are looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced Assistant Marine fleet to work in Mombasa, Kenya.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- To assist in coordinating between vessel and shore, suppliers, sub-contractors and maintain timely and cost-effective logistic arrangements
- Make arrangements of spare parts, services, stores and Lube Oils
- Issue purchase orders, process invoices and update related records and details
- Support in monitoring vessel budget and preparing variance reports
- Support SI for preparing vessel annual reports, docking reports and other reports as required
- Monitor Certificate and class survey status, and circulate report
- Dispatch and follow up of vessel mail and courier delivery for documents and certificates
- Extract report for Fleet Monitor / Fleet Performance and circulate
- Other support duties as required by Managers
- Maintaining record for the quotation/price comparison and other correspondence
- Maintain & update vendor's information / details
- Support in preparation of reports
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum Diploma, in Maritime studies
- Experience in similar job scope and working in a shipping company
- Able to communicate effectively and is a team player
