Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to join our team on a part-time or consultancy basis in Nairobi, Kenya. The ideal candidate will bring strategic insight and operational expertise to support our organization's human resources needs, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- HR Strategy Development:
- Collaborate with leadership to design and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
- Provide guidance on workforce planning and organizational development.
- Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Oversee recruitment efforts to attract top talent.
- Manage onboarding processes to ensure smooth integration of new hires.
- Employee Relations:
- Address employee concerns and provide guidance on workplace issues.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Policy and Compliance:
- Develop, update, and implement HR policies and procedures in line with Kenyan labor laws.
- Ensure compliance with employment regulations and best practices.
- Performance Management:
- Implement performance management systems to drive employee engagement and productivity.
- Conduct regular reviews and provide coaching as needed.
- Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and coordinate professional development opportunities.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning.
- HR Administration:
- Maintain accurate employee records and manage HR-related documentation.
- Oversee payroll and benefits administration (if required).
Key Requirements:
- Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- HR certifications (e.g., CIPD, SHRM, SABPP) are an advantage.
- Experience:
- 5+ years of HR management experience, preferably in a consultancy or part-time capacity.
- Strong knowledge of Kenyan labor laws and HR best practices.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
Working Hours:
This is a part-time/consultant role with flexible working hours. The exact schedule will be determined based on mutual agreement.
