Position: Marketing Manager
Reporting to: Director - Business Operations
Location: Nairobi, Kenya
General
Description:
The Marketing Manager will lead BTN’s marketing
initiatives, driving brand visibility, customer engagement, and revenue growth
through innovative strategies. The role demands a creative yet data-driven
individual who can position BTN as a leader in the IT and telecom industry
while developing strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
• Strategic
Marketing Planning and Execution
- Develop and
implement comprehensive marketing strategies to align with BTN's business
objectives.
- Create annual
marketing plans with a focus on IT products and telecom services.
- Conduct market
analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
• Brand
Management
- Enhance BTN’s
brand awareness and reputation in the market.
- Oversee the
development of all marketing materials, including brochures,
presentations, and promotional items.
- Ensure brand
consistency across all marketing channels and platforms.
• Digital
Marketing and Content Strategy
- Manage digital
marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email
marketing.
- Oversee content
creation for blogs, posts etc to showcase BTN’s expertise in IT solutions.
- Analyze digital
performance metrics and optimize campaigns for better results.
• Customer
Relationship Management (CRM)
- Develop targeted
campaigns to improve customer acquisition, retention, and satisfaction.
• Event
Management and Partnerships
- Plan and execute
marketing events, trade shows, and webinars.
- Collaborate with
partners and stakeholders to create co-marketing opportunities.
• Team
Management and Collaboration
- Work closely with
Sales, Product Development, and HR to align marketing efforts with overall
company objectives.
• Budgeting
and Reporting
- Manage the
marketing budget effectively, ensuring ROI for all campaigns.
- Prepare monthly,
quarterly, and annual marketing performance reports for management.
Requirements
Minimum
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s
degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum
Previous Experience:
- 3+
years of experience in marketing, preferably in the IT or telecom
industry.
- Proven
expertise in digital marketing, branding, and content strategy.
- Strong
knowledge of marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM
software, social media management tools).
