Job Summary:
Our client, a leading Bio-digester Company that processes organic waste in a local and sustainable way is sourcing for a Marketing Manager. This position will be based in Nairobi and will report to the Country Director.
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for the below-the-line marketing activities, Partnerships, and Digital platforms. The role will also be responsible for the following activities:
- Managing the Sales Executives and Credit Officers.
- Accountable for managing budgets.
- Optimizing the ROI of marketing activities.
- Creating engaging social media content.
- Managing social media communities.
- Executing paid social media campaigns.
- Analyzing social media performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Five (5) years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in managing below-the-line marketing activities, partnerships, activations, branding and social media platforms.
- Strong understanding of social media trends and best practices, website optimization, content creation, and analytics tools.
- Experience in working with marketing agencies.
- Excellent communication, project management, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with different teams to achieve common goals.
- Focused individual with excellent decision-making, strategic thinking, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communicator – both verbally and written – and able to deliver information in a clear, concise, and engaging manner to all stakeholders.
- Excellent multitasker with a strong sense of ownership who can handle several tasks and fulfill tight deadlines with poise.
- Adoption and flexibility to work in fast-paced workplaces with rapid change and a sense of urgency to get the task done, as well as a desire to collaborate across numerous teams and functional domains.
