Job Overview:


Our company is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Machine Attendant to support our knitting production line. This role involves monitoring and maintaining knitting machines to ensure seamless operations, high-quality output, and adherence to production schedules. The ideal candidate will be responsible for quality control, machine troubleshooting, and managing raw materials, with a focus on achieving efficiency and excellence in the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities 

  •  Perform regular checks on finished products to identify defects and variations, adhering to company quality standards.  

  •  Feed raw materials into machines, ensuring correct placement of yarn cones and optimal functioning of feeders.  

  •  Monitor machines continuously to prevent stoppages; troubleshoot minor issues or escalate to machine operators as needed.  

  •  Quickly resolve stoppages caused by raw material shortages, and immediately inform the team of any mechanical breakdowns.  

  • Bundle socks into groups of 24 pieces (12 pairs), clearly marking batch information for accurate inventory tracking.  

  •  Maintain accurate records of production output, waste, and machine performance, ensuring data is up-to-date.  

  •  Separate waste and defective products into designated areas to maintain a clean and organized workspace.  

  •  Assist in achieving production targets by ensuring consistent machine operation and minimal downtime.  

  • Comply with all safety protocols to prevent workplace accidents and maintain a safe working environment.


Requirements

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.  

  • Previous experience as a machine attendant or operator in the knitting industry is advantageous.  

  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify and address quality issues promptly.  

  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.  

  • Reliable attendance and ability to stand for long periods (8-10 hours daily).  

  •  Basic English proficiency and good hand-eye coordination.  


Physical Demands

  • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and lift heavy machinery parts for extended periods.  

  • Must be comfortable working in a medium to low noise environment due to running knitting machines.
