Responsibilities
As a Logistics and Supply Chain Intern, you will have the opportunity to support various aspects of logistics and supply chain management operations within the humanitarian sector. Your responsibilities may include:
Assisting with procurement processes, including sourcing suppliers and obtaining quotes.
Supporting inventory management activities, such as stock tracking and storage organization.
Assisting in transportation coordination, including scheduling and monitoring shipments.
Providing administrative support for logistics documentation and record-keeping.
Participating in cross-functional teams to develop and implement supply chain strategies.
Contributing to the development of logistics plans and budgets for humanitarian projects.
Strong attention to detail

Technical Competencies:
Basic knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles
Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Qualifications/Requirements:
Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or related field
Interest in pursuing a career in humanitarian logistics and supply chain management
Strong academic record and willingness to learn
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
