About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Sales to lead and drive the sales operations across Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania. The ideal candidate will be a results-oriented leader with a proven track record of achieving sales targets, building high-performing teams, and driving business growth in the East African market.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania, aligned with the company’s growth objectives.
• Build and lead a dynamic sales team, fostering a high-performance culture and developing future sales leaders.
• Drive revenue growth by identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities across the region.
• Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners to enhance market penetration and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer needs to inform sales strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
• Track and report on sales performance, providing actionable insights to optimize strategies.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
1. Revenue Growth: Achieve a [30]%, in Kenya,50% in Tanzania and 20,000 USD per month for Uganda and Rwanda and increase in sales revenue annually across Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.
2. Market Share: Grow market share in key industries and regions by 30%.
3. Team Development: Recruit, train, and retain top sales talent, reducing turnover .
4. Customer Acquisition: Secure [18] new high-value clients annually in the region.
5. Client Retention: Maintain a client retention rate of 98% year-over-year.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
At least 8 years of progressive sales leadership experience in East Africa, preferably in consultancy or legal firm.
• Strong understanding of the market dynamics in Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.
• Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced and competitive environment.
