EY Law provides clients with a single launching point through which they can access tailored and interconnected solutions for their business needs including legal advice on legal function transformation and support for ongoing operations in combination with Tax, Consulting and other EY services.

 

Job Summary:

 

The EY Kenya Law Services practice is looking to hire a Law Associate to join a team that provides business laws advisory and support to a host of clients, the market as well as assisting with regulatory compliance and policy.

Working closely with other experts in the practice, the suitable candidate should;

  • be self driven, pro-active and focused;
  • have excellent communication and social skills;
  • be a creative thinker and solution focused;
  • be tech-savvy and excited about digital innovation; and
  • be insightful and proa-ctive in dealing with client needs and challenges.

 

Desired Candidate Profile:

 

  • Bachelors degree in Law (LLB) from a reputable institution with a minimum of upper second-class honours or its equivalent
  •  Admission to the bar is an added advantage;
  • Minimum of 3 years of legal experience, preferably in a law firm, consulting or a professional firm;
  • A minimum overall grade of a B and B in both English & Mathematics at Secondary School level
  • Demonstrable knowledge of corporate law, commercial law, transactional, contract law, and regulatory compliance;
  • Demonstrable passion and understanding of economic and business environment.
