JOB SUMMARY
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for sourcing business opportunities by building and maintaining clientsβ relationships in order to improve the Companyβs position in the industry sector. S/he will also support the successful delivery of projects.
Responsible for:
1. Sourcing for new business opportunities - by recruiting new clients and developing new client relationships, especially in the public sector.
2. Delivering the agreed revenue volume within the set timelines
3. Ensuring timely collection of payments from clients' accounts
4. Account management - Maintaining sound working relationships with existing clients per SLA and generation of more business opportunities
5. In collaboration with Pre-sales Engineers, ensure proper preparation and delivery of tenders, RFPs, pre-qualifications, etc.
6. In liaison with technical teams, to ensure effective projects deployment
7. Ensuring OEMs partnership agreements are maintained and developed through certification and meeting commercial requirements
8. Provide leadership and advice in the various aspects of business development
Requirements
- Degree in Business or related course from a reputable university
- Masters qualification will be an added advantage
- At least 4 years relevant experience in a similar role
- Experience in Public Sector will be an added advantage
- Possess good leadership and interpersonal skills
- Be an excellent communicator β verbal & written
- Good Customer Management Skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strategic with sound research and analytical skills
