Manage the EMEA BIM/CAD security design engineering team in producing high quality security designs in Revit, AutoCAD and other CAD design software. Β 

Task and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Control Risks BIM execution plan and associated CAD standards.
  • Design, develop and deliver a programme of technical training to the team.
  • Manage, allocated and oversee tasks allocated to the team.
  • Be responsible for the quality assurance and quality control of technical drawings and models in Revit and AutoCad developed by the team.
  • Attend virtual project BIM coordination meetings for projects across EMEA and be able to communicate clearly and confidently to resolve technical issues.
  • Use β€˜out of the box’ thinking to add value to security designs
  • Innovate to find more efficient and better ways to produce security designs


Requirements
  • An HNC (Higher National Diploma) or HND (Higher National Certificate) in a subject related to construction, such as civil engineering.
  • Highly proficient in Revit and AutoCAD, with 5+ years experience in an architecture or MEP engineering practice.
  • Extensive knowledge of quality and document management processes.
  • Experience of clash detection/resolution process using both Navisworks and Revit.
  • Familiar with BIM, use of Common Data Environments and QA systems.
  • Knowledge of Cobie Data applicable to MEP/ security drawings.
  • Great verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written)
  • Excellent IT skills.
