Job Title: Business Development Manager
Report to: Head CRM

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
Partnership.
- Create and manage partnerships with MNOs across the territory to increase the company’s connectivity penetration.
- Build partnership with MNOs and other service providers pushing other Enterprise services such as LEO, MEO, GEO, LTE, IOT, and ensure partners are fully knowledgeable of products, GTM, pricing, etc.
- Solutions for MNO’s: The Company has built different solutions for MNO’s and already signed with a few major MNO’s.
- Frequently Travel in different countries to manage existing and create new partnerships with MNOs and other service providers.
- Work in partnership with marketing, sales marketing, and commercial business development horizontals to ensure there is adequate marketing, account development and management, planning initiatives to achieve both short term and longer-term objectives are achieved.
- Working in conjunction with the Marketing team, develop a sales plan to advance the company's mission and objectives in the region.
- Promote revenue, profitability, and growth - Driving net revenue growth – Net revenue, Churn, bad debt and timely rate renewal.
Partners/ Principal Management
- Technology Partner and Principal: Responsible for managing partnership with allocated principal (s), you are expected to work with the principal to agree strategy, marketing, events and BD activities to ensure the business achieves its targets committed to Oneweb.
Sales & Business Development
- Drive critical sales opportunities and engagements across Kenya and other allocated territories.
- Develop and deploy Sales Revenue and ensure targets are met.
- Monitor the opportunity funnel, monthly and quarterly sales forecasts, being able to push back and justify the reasoning behind the numbers.
- Working with the Presales team to ensure the support received is as required and reviewed as necessary developing new processes and procedures in line with customer expectations.
- Manages day-to-day operational issues and problems - Contribute to the strategic planning process of the business.
- Share inputs for the preparation of the annual plans and identify key focus areas for the segment services.
Customer Relationship
- Work with group Operation Manager collection matters including collection.
- Ensure monthly collection set targets are achieved as per KPI.
- Ensures that collection procedures are in place and enforced always
- Manage all credit notes and ensure the team reports any credit note within 24 hours (if any).
- Responsible for collecting long overdue outstanding by engaging different debtor collections.
- Customer retention and churn management.
Market Intelligence
- Continuously Monitors competitor activities in the marketplace across Tanzania provide feedback to the business on an ongoing basis.
- Analyses the market intelligence through direct reports and decides on appropriate action to maintain and grow the market share.
- Provides recommendations based on understanding of target customer needs, competitor offerings as well as global best practice and technological advancements to ensure all products are competitive in a view to enhance revenue.

- In-depth understanding of the industry and the workings of different departments of a company, including finance, sales and human resources

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or industry-relevant equivalent, master’s degree will be an added advantage.
